 The information contained in this section of the website is for the benefit of the countries, International Organizations and other delegations attending the Uganda Solidarity Summit on Refugees that will be held on 22 -23 June 2017 at the Commonwealth Resort Munyonyo Kampala, Uganda.

It includes specific courtesies being extended to Heads of State/Government, Heads of Delegation and Heads of Regional Organizations, along with all kinds of different information listed on the side bar on the right hand side of the screen.

Below is some general information about Uganda.

Climate: June in Uganda is relatively warm. Temperatures range from 18C at night to 27C during the day.

Time: The time in Uganda is GMT+3. 

Electricity Supply: The power supply in Uganda is 240 V AC, 50Hz.  Electrical sockets are rectangular three pronged. Delegates are advised to bring adaptors. 

Business and Shopping Hours: Offices and businesses are generally open from 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.  Opening times on Saturdays and Sundays range between 09:00 and 17:00.
